Manchester. M1 1JN.
Tel: 0161 237-9688

The Northern Quarter of Manchester is alive with cafe's, coffee shops and bars as well as a thriving alternative shopping scene; at the heart of this vibrant community lies Cafe Pop.

Cafe Pop is a superb vegetarian cafe which offers veggi dishes from around the world. The legendary all day veggi breakfast is a firm favourite with regulars but the menu has other great dishes and the specials board (weekly change) is always worth checking out.

As well as the great food, Cafe Pop serves great coffee, herbal teas and fantastic fresh fruit milkshakes!

Great food and fantastic value, highly recommended.

No review of Cafe Pop would be complete without mention of its unique atmosphere due in no small part to its pop imagery decor and links to the local music scene. There is a stage for live performances by local musicians and local bands, as well as poetry evenings with readings by local and national poets (check listings).

There are plans to install a series of listening booths for vinyl and CD's and a visual display of the history of recording instruments all designed to add to the Cafe Pop experience.

And finally, Cafe Pop offers you the chance to play for your lunch on their buskers piano! Great fun and often very entertaining.

Opening Hours:

Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 5.30pm
Friday - Saturday 9.30am - 7.00pm
Sunday 10.30am - 5.00pm
