The area of Didsbury to the south of Manchester is a thriving community dubbed "Manchester's Notting Hill" and has a vibrant and varied dining out scene. 

Felix Restaurant opened just over one year ago under the management of Harry Morris a young restaurateur with a passion for fine food and wine, and has already received rave reviews and carved out a niche in this competitive district.

Head Chef Timothy Wood (formerly of Sienna and Hazelwood Castle) has prepared a truly outstanding menu cleverly blending textures and flavours which take full advantage of fresh seasonal produce. To ensure continued consistency, new dishes do not appear on the menu until they are confident they are perfect.

The standards set at Felix are extremely high and they take every care possible to ensure the level of excellence is maintained.

Timothy Wood is ably assisted by Chef Andrew Parker (formerly of Buckingham Palace and the Hilton) whose speciality is the pastry section of the kitchen.

This talented and meticulous young man is responsible for the bread baked fresh on the premises each day and the desserts which can only be described as to die for.

The last member of the team is Paul Taylor, a Student Chef hailing from the South Trafford College who is already showing maturity beyond his years and talent to match.

To compliment the fabulous food, Felix offers a wine list of truly exceptional quality chosen by an obvious enthusiast with choices to suit all palates.

The interior design of the restaurant creates a warm and relaxing environment and the friendly staff make each visit a real pleasure. Felix offers food and service second to none and can be highly recommended for any occasion.
