Angling has grown in popularity over the last 30 odd years to become Britain's biggest participant sport. At the centre of this leisurely piscatorial pursuit is the local tackle shop, a place to meet and spin yarns or collect local knowledge while stocking up on all the essentials.

Hazel Grove Angling Centre is just such a place, run by anglers for anglers. They stock all the essentials as well as the non-essentials like that new rod you don't really need but must have anyway!

H.G.A.C. cater for pleasure anglers, game anglers and specimen hunters alike and have displays of major tackle suppliers like Nash, E.S.P., Drennan, Kamasan and Dinsmore to name but a few.

There is also a wide range of bait available from maggots and casters to worms and ground  bait, as well as shelf life boillies and carp pellets.

There is a large car park adjacent to the shop and late night opening on a Friday, perfect for those planning a last minute weekend fishing trip.
