The Tarantella restaurant first opened in Cheadle some 16 years ago and soon established itself as a restaurant of real quality and panache. Following on the back of this initial success, a second venue opened in Poynton, Cheshire where no expense was spared on interior design to create a genuinely authentic Italian feel.

There is always a special atmosphere at both restaurants which makes every visit a special occasion. The Poynton restaurant is a firm favourite with local celebrities including the Manchester United team members and in actual fact the last three United captains all had their leaving parties at Tarantella. Cosimo, the restaurants owner, has forged strong friendships with all his celebrity clientele and his concern for their privacy has earned him the respect of all who dine at Tarantella. Cosimo is quick to add that all his customers are celebrities in his eyes and everyone is looked after in the same special way.

All this success could not have been achieved without the quality of food being first class, which it is. Every dish is freshly prepared using only the finest ingredients and the extensive menu has something to offer everyone, including good
vegetarian options.

Cosimo pays close attention to the standards kept in his kitchens and always ensures a warm welcome awaits everyone at front of house.
