For those of you
who care, my computer
First things first, it's an IBM compatible.
I don't believe in buying brand name computers simply because they are crap.
Tech support if you ever need it's normally a nightmare and if you need anything serviced
you have to send you computer somewhere by mail. It's crap. So therefore we
have a computer built to my families specs by a very reliable company called LabTop Computer Systems.
System In detail:
- Asus tx-97 motherboard in side the case,
running a Intel Pentium 166MHz MMX chip.
- 32MB of Sdram with 86MB/s burst rate.
(Measured with wintune 98, you can download at Windows
Magazine's web site.)
- ATI 3D Pro-Turbo with PC-TV ability. 4MB of
onboard Sdram. (No Voodo chipset though)
- Sound Blaster Awe 32 value pack sound card.
- Toshiba 24x CD-ROM
- I have an old SVGA 14'' monitor I use from
my old 386sx.(also from LabTop Computers, the computer and monitor!)
- My own Iomega Zip Drive with 6/100MB disk
currently hanging around 2 of the for .mod files,
kind of digital music.
- 3GB Western Digital Hard drive.
