After dying in the fight with Raditz, Goku travelled in the next dimension to the home planet of King Kai, a kind and wise old man with an excessive sense of humor. King Kai trained Goku on the intense gravity of his planet, and taught him the Kao-Ken attack and the spirit bomb.
