Not many races were cleary explained in Dragon Ball Z, so I have summed them up and explained them to you as best as I could.

  • Namekians
    Namekians come planet Namek. Their skin is green, with patches of tough, ribbed, pink skin where major muscles lie. Namekians also have anntenai like slugs, but I'm not sure what they are for. Also, Namekians also posess the ability to regenerate limbs and skin tissue...like lizards. An example of this is when Nail was fighting Frieza, and got his arm ripped clean off. He just regenerated it right then and there. There are no females and males on Namek. There is no such thing as sex, so Nameks lay eggs. I think there are only certain people who can lay eggs...like Guru. He had over 80 children. Guru had survived a great storm on the planet Namek a long time ago and rebuilt his civilization one egg after another. There is another Namek, the Guardian of Earth, Kame. Kame created the Dragon Balls, and when he dies, the dragon balls disappear.

  • Saiyens
    Saiyens are a power hungry race a barbarians, and are pretty much similar to humans except that they can transform into giant monkeys during the full moon, otherwise known as Oozaru Form. All Saiyens have a tail except for Goku, because Goku's tail was chopped off when he was a child. When saiyens heal, they get even more stronger then they were before their injury...so the more you knock them down, the more they come back twice as strong. A super saiyen is when a saiyen transforms into an overwhelming powerful state. You can tell someone is a super saiyen when they have glowing, shimmering blonde hair, with blue eyes to increase depth perception. When someone is ssjx2, they have no eyebrows. When ssjx3 the facial features become more bony and resemble a monkey, and once again no eyebrows are visible. When someone is at the final state of ssjx4, they're body is covered with coarse, brown hair, and hair on the head is red and thick. Saiyens have uncanny abilities...
