Tenchi Muyo is about a young man, who lives somewhere up in the mountains. He lives with his father, is grandfather, a little cat/rabbit creature named ryo-oki, and 4 beautiful aliens. One is Princess Ayeka, another is Ryoko, the most renowned space pirate in the universe, Washu a.k.a. Little Washu, a mad genius scientist, and Mihoshi, a member of the Galaxy Police. Each of these women are in madly in love with Tenchi, but the worst case is between Ryoko and Ayeka, who constantly fight over him.
The series right now is based on Tenchi and his companions in everday life, which is mostly comedy and romance. Sometimes there will be problems in the story line, but nothing big. As I understand, later on in the series, Tenchi finishes his training with his grandfather, (his grandfather trains him to use a special sword)and begins fighting demons and such. When the time comes, I will post the rest of the story, so I will not ruin future episodes for the fans.
