Purpose of study: Can a cricket be used as a thermometer?
Describe the project in non-technical terms:The cricket is considered a reasonably accurate thermometer for determining the temperature. The warmer the temperature, the faster a male cricket will chirp; the cooler, the slower his chirps.
Experience: Using linear trend-analysis method to graph a set of data about temperature and chirps/minute.
