This is such a good place to search I decided it deserves its own paragraph. This site has on line information for all states and has the Texas and California birth index on line. You can even post a note with your information next to the birth information it gives you. All you do is click on to the last column (postems) and enter the information it asks . give it a few days to show that there are messages and then you can click on to veiw to see or edit your message. It also has marriage and death records as well as divorce records. Too many features to mention them all here! CHECK IT OUT

A word about searching

It is recommended that when you are searching with any agency such as Family History Centers or Government agencies ect., you should tell them you are doing a Genealogy search (which is true) rather than explaining that you are seeking information reguarding a sealed adoption.
