How did I happen to become the Scooby Gang Archivist? There is a post in the FarScape New Basement that asked for names of different societies connected to FarScape (The Archives Consortium, ScaperGypsy's, New England Scapers, etc.) and where they hang out. One of the replies asked if the Scooby Gang should be listed among the FarScape societies and another asked if we should collect and save all of the Scooby Gang Adventures for easy access. Something clicked with me and I decided that this was something that I needed to do. I needed to find all of the past and present Scooby Gang adventures and put them in a place where they could be enjoyed by all.

When did I find the Scooby Gang? I found them in December 1999, although at the time I didn't know there was such a group. If you go to the main bboard page of the FarScape website and scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll see two buttons: 'farscape' (on the left), 'Farscape -- A BEAUTIFUL PLACE' (on the right), with the word 'Topic' in the middle. So I decided to find out where each of these buttons would take me. On each new bboard page is a new set of buttons at the bottom of the page. So starting with the right hand button and clicking each right hand button in turn I found myself in the FarScapeBallroom (at the time this was the very last bboard on the right hand side). I posted a 'hello' and received many warm 'hellos' in return. Soon after I found out about the group's name and that adventuring was their hobby. I have had such a great time since. The group seems more like family then just posts on a bboard.

What's up with the pictures of the Barbie(tm) dolls? Okay, lol, I'll give you this one. I'm sure nobody else but me would have thought of doing this. There is a post in the FarScapeballroom (post #61 starting with reply #61) where I mentioned that I would like to redress some Barbie(tm) dolls to match the personaes of the Scooby Gang. I asked the group to describe who they are in the FarScape "Mansion" and what they would wear. The pictures are what I see when I read the descriptions.
