Slam....slam...
RagnarRB
Up and down the sledge hammer goes driving another post into the streambank. Ragnar pauses when he thinks its just about there. Humming to himself he squints and eyes the line. "yep just about right."
Another post and some planking and the dock will be up in no time. A little more work and the longboat will have a home.
Ragnar thinks to himself, a wicked grin spreading, it's probably a good thing that he missed out on the brownies last night. This must be a terrible sounding racket to anyone they haven't scrapped up off the floor yet in the upper room. Taking out a pad he makes a note
...find some kind doctor/nurse person to set up an infirmery off the main room. Some of these folks need it.
...back to work...

"The Phantom of Farscape"
RagnarRB -- Somebody say something?
Ragnar pauses, "Hello?"
Looking around he sees no one. Shrugging his shoulders he sets down the hammer and shakes his head. "Could of swore I heard a voice there for a moment. Must be those phantom winds coming down the stream." He thinks a moment more, "or it could be moans from recovering partiers."
It's time for a break anyway, maybe there is some food left up there to eat.
Walking back towards the main ballroom he cann't shake that chilly feeling, like an icy stare from the shadows...he wonders.
ArtistStudio -- Here’s the planking, where’s RagnarRB
I could swear he told me to bring these planks down here. Got a good deal on them. There was a lake shore cleaning project that included removal of an old fishing dock and I got plenty of planks.
All but one of the posts are in place.
RagnarRB better get back soon, because the longboat is on the way and if the dock isn't ready when it gets here, there will be some irritated Vikings with questions . . .
For all his skills, ArtistStudio is helpless with tools and must wait until someone gets down here to finish the job. Well, I need some practice on the mandolin, and it was easy to bring it along. Soon the grotto is chiming with the sound of the little instrument.
RagnarRB -- Eric the awful...
Swaggering gaily to the old Ray Stephens toon in his head Ragnar heads back down to the grotto with a caske on one shoulder and full mug in hand.
"Woah what's this?" Enjoying himself so much he almost walked into a pile of planking.
"Artist you made it! I wasn't sure they'd let you have all that stuff in time. Here care for a drink? It's just a little beer. There's none of that PUNCH OF DOOM stuff left up there to be found and the river taste so much like...like water! Thought I'd bring a keg, saves on all that walking." Ragnar glances at the river. "Well at least upstream of the hot tubs it's water, wouldn't trust the rest."
Carefully setting down the caske Ragnar picks up his hammer moves on the last post.
"Take a load of Artist, I'll have this one in in a jiffy and we can lay some planks."
RNLYNN -- Oh Boy A Dock!
I think the grotto river is big enough for us to use Jet Ski's .Don't you guys think it's big enough, and with the dock to store, and keep them tied up. I think a couple of Jet Ski's next to the long boat would look great.
