Mouse walk out of the fort....
mouse_in_the_lab
decides she hasn't explored this ballroom enought. It is pretty dark, and who knows what's in all the shadows?
Finally she finds it sitting here under the green shaded lights. It's beautiful - slate top, green felt, leather pockets, competition size, a real beauty. They have a full rack of cues, along with several cubes of chalk, and even a powder cone. She takes a cue, weighs it, rolls it on the table - Straight! New tips! This couldn't get any better. The balls are new, clean, and racked in the familiar diamond pattern. The ivory inlaid diamonds mark the spot. She hasn't had this excited feeling since she was six, her Grandfather teaching her a bank shot while standing on a stool with a cut-off cue to reach the table top.
9-Ball it is! She rolls the cue ball slowly down the center - straight and level. She tries to contain her excitement, but fails as she runs back to the fort.
GUYS!! Guess what I found!! 9-ball anyone? 8-ball? Straight pool? Cutthroat?
(Those rumors that Mouse is really a Shark are severly overrated!)
