All of these web hosting services are free. They make their money from putting advertisements on your web page. Although on some of these you don't have to put their ad banners on your site. In most of these web site providers, you can upload from your computer JPEG's and GIF's etc. You can normally on most of these use FTP and advanced users can use HTML. A good web page hosting service for beginners may be Angelfire, but depending on your needs, compare all web pages here. Stuff4U values your suggestions, and so if there is a good web page provider, fill in a form here. Maxpages.com Here you get 5mb of web space. Not a very good web page hosting service as you have to pay to upload graphics and you have to put a load of banners on your site. In fact this is one of the worst web site providers around, But something to campare all the others with. PLEASE don't take me to court maxpages. Qwik Pages: Here you get 10mb of space, and it is 'qwik'; quick to start and quite easy to use.Good for the begginers. GeoCities: They give 11mb. Startpath: Here you get 5mb of space. Not only that but you also get paid for the number of people who visit your site. You have to display an ad banner. Quite easy to use whether novice or expert. Netcolony: This page provider gives you 35mb of space, along with a lot of advise on designing your page. You have to display a banner. ACME city: Your site gets 20mb of space here, and the option to upload using FTP or their own web site wizard. You are forced to display ad banners here. Angelfire: They give you 5 mb of space. It may have a small amount of space compared to others, but you don't have to put any banner ads on (though this is an option which you will have to enable). You can build you're website using a friendly interface, or just use HTML. Using HTML allows you to write the web site off-line in a web design program and just copy it.
