Lynn Abbey
Author of The Dragon & the Unicorn and co-editor of the Thieves World books, Lynn Abbey maintains an informative and chatty home page. (Author maintained.)

Douglas Adams
The Douglas Adams Worship Page contains an unofficial archive, FAQs, and index to resources on the Net for Hitchiker fans. Also see alt.fan.douglas-adams for Usenet discussion. (Fan maintained.)

Kevin J. Anderson
A detailed and well organized home page from the author of the Jedi Academy series, as well as the first X-Files novel. Lots of information on these and his original work. (Author maintained.)

Piers Anthony
Two of the better sites on this incredibly prolific author include The Xanth Thread, the home page of a fan-maintained mailing list with a live chat and The Land of Xanth, cleanly designed but a bit light on content.

Robert Asprin

A fan maintained site with information on the author, his various series (M.Y.T.H. Adventures, The Time Scouts, etc.), an interview and direct links for on-line ordering from alt.bookstore.

Isaac Asimov
One of the most read SF authors of all time, Asimov created the epic Foundation series and the Laws of Robotics. This page is an excellent collection of resources, including complete anthologies, spoilers, and more. Usenet: alt.books.isaac-asimov

Iain Banks
This fan-maintained site features notes on the Culture, the text of numerous Banks interviews, and much more. Another recommended stop is the The Culture fanzine.

L. Frank Baum
Most of the Baum's Oz books are availabe on-line at www.literature.org, while while The International Wizard of Oz Club is a good place to meet with other fans.

Stephen Baxter
The authorized fan page featuring the author of whom Larry Niven said "He writes like I used to . . . I should have him assassinated before it's too late!" Be sure to see the anthology.

Peter Beagle
A good review page of The Last Unicorn by a fan named Mark Hairston, who has put together an essay about both the book and the movie and a FAQ.

Greg Bear
The multiple-award wining author of Slant provides an official biography and bibliography along with articles & interviews. (Author maintained.)

eluki bes sharar (Rosemary Edgehill)

As Rosemary Edgehill, she's written fantasy, science fiction, mystery and romance. As eluki bes sharar, she produces X-Men novels. Bio, book covers, sample chapters and Amazon.com ordering links. (Author maintained.)

Alfred Bester
The individual is a quirky, comprehensive and amusing tribute site to the author of the classic Science Fiction works The Demolished Man and The Stars My Destination.

John Betancourt
You can find out more about the Star Trek and Hercules (oh, not him again!) author of at his small Science Fiction & Fantasy press Wildside Press, or visit a fascinating set of reviews of early mystery movies he maintains at SFF Net. A very nicely put together set of pages.

Michael Bishop
The official bibliography, compiled by Michael H. Hutchins. Excerpts from the author's autobiography are also available. Nicely presented and very comprehensive.

Terry Bisson
The author of Pirates of the Universe and Bears Discover Fire has done something lovely and provided online editions of his published but uncollected short stories here. Let's hope the idea catches on. (Author maintained.)

Ben Bova

David Brin
Here is the official home page for the author of the widely acclaimed Uplift novels, and here is an unofficial page with a comprehensive bibliography and links to interviews.

Marion Zimmer Bradley
The Darkover Site is a comprehensive text-only page with a Darkover encyclopedia and reading guide. There's also an official site for Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine with a bio & advice to writers and a feature at Amazon.com.

(Steven Brust) Dream Cafe
Author of the popular Dragaera novels, musician and member of the only half-serious Pre-Joycean Fellowship, Steven Brust gives a short account of his life and works here. (Author maintained.) Also check out the Drageara Home Page for an excellent fan-maintained resource.

Edgar Rice Burroughs: Creator of Tarzan
Thoroughly professional and just plain thorough site about the man who created Lord Greystoke and Barsoom. Prints, movies, social commentaries; everything's covered.

Lois McMaster Bujold
Her Vorkosigan novels are covered in this site. The site has fan club links, a quote server, artwork and more.

Anthony Burgess
Read a brief biography of the Clockwork Orange author, see his own list of the 99 best novels of 1934-1984 or visit the Nadsat Dictionary for slang translations.

Octavia Butler
The feminist science fiction & fantasy site has it's usual thorough bibliography and information on the MacArthur-award winning author of Kindred and others, while Voices from the Gap provides a biography and links.

James Branch Cabell
A quirky & informative homepage about the early 20th century author of the 18 volume Biography of Don Manuel. How many fans do you know with a tattoo of their favorite bookcover? Hey, find the one here!

Pat Cadigan
A good site on the "Queen of Cyberpunk" and author of Mindplayers. Reviews, bibliographies, a short story or two and a mailing list for true Cadigan fans. (Fan maintained.)

(Orson Scott Card) Hatrack River
The popular alternate history author's official home page. Well designed and full of information ranging from the basic bibliography to writing lessons.

Raphael Carter
The Fortunate Fall, Carter's first novel, is now available from Tor Books. Also, The Darmok Dictionary, which translates phrases from an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and a fascinating section on intersexuality. (Author maintained.)

Jeffrey A. Carver
The "Star Rigger's Resource Center" for Carver's Science Fiction novels, stories, thoughts, and activities, as well as some good advice for aspiring writers. (Author maintained.)

Jack L. Chalker
The author of the Dancing Gods and Well World novels maintains a small, but rich & somewhat quirky web site, complete with self-written FAQ, biography and bibliographic information. (Author maintained.)

C. J. Cherryh
An award-winning author, C.J. Cherryh's excellent site features an art gallery (including some of her own work), a discussion of her universes, a newsletter, and lots more. (Author maintained.)

Brenda Clough

Five of her novels have been published in the last dozen years. The latest one is How Like a God from Tor Books. (Author maintained.)

Storm Constantine
The British favorite writes gothic fantasy. An author approved web site gives information on her books and some short stories to read on line, while Inception is a "Storm Constantine Information Service." (Apparently Goths are too cool to have fan clubs.)

Glen Cook

A well done site about the author of the Black Company novels. As an added bonus, it's one of the few fan web pages that makes an attempt to observe copyright law. (Fan maintained.)

Kathryn Cramer
A writer and anthologist, Cramer works with The New York Review of Science Fiction (here it is again, that New York blah, blah thing...). (Author maintained.)

Michelle Crean
Her first novel, Dancer of the Sixth, is out from Del Rey. An informal and slightly odd personal home page. (Author maintained.)

John Crowley
A lovingly maintained mostly-text site containing a thorough bibliography of and reviews on the author of Little, Big and other modern fantasy classics. (Fan maintained.)

Roald Dahl Index

A fun and functional site in tribute to the one of most delightfully twisted children's fantasists of the 20th century. (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach.)Btw, Charlie and the chocolate factory is one of my favorite kids'a books. Read it.

Jack Dann
The author or editor of over thirty-five books, including the novels Junction, Starhiker, and The Memory Cathedral maintains an informative, well organized home page with news, links and stories. (Author maintained.)

Avram Davidson
A simply organized and well maintained fan page with information on the elegant and funny late author with bibliography, resources and contact information for a Davidson society.

Steven Dedman
Biography, links to online works, and announcements from the Australian SF author. (Author approved.)

Philip K. Dick
A FAQ list on one of the oddest and best authors in science fiction compiled by Joel Margot and Walter Flaschka from many sources.

Charles de Lint

Canadian fantasist de Lint has published thirty-eight books, much to the delight of fans of his unique style of urban fantasy. His most recent release is Trader. (Author maintained.) There's also a useful page by the National Library of Canada.

Diane Duane and Peter Morwood

Dave Duncan
Author of more than 20 books of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Duncan is better known for his Fantasies. In his own words, "I write very SF-ish fantasy, in that I usually develop some what-if? sort of idea about magic."

Debra Doyle & James Macdonald
Authors of the Science Fictional Mageworlds, they've also written several  Fantasy novels together (Knight's Wyrd, the Circle of Magic series.) Interesting opinions found here.(Author maintained.)
