Neil Gaiman
Heart of the Dreaming is a visually gorgeous and information rich site maintained by fans. Other good choices include The Magian Line newsletter archives that feature interviews with Gaiman and The Dreaming. See alt.fan.neil-gaiman for Usenet chat.

David Gemmel
British author of "riproaring hack-and-slash fantasy adventure."

David Gerrold
This official page offers more than most, including the usual bibliography, and biography, as well as pages devoted to his series about The War Against The Chtorr.

William Gibson
This official site features all of the usual information in an unusual format. There is also an unofficial site worth looking at.

Scott G. Gier
This site for Scott G. Gier's Genellan series features information about the world of Genellan, the characters, the author, and hosts a discussion group via e-mail.

Ken Goddard
Self-described as "one one of those police-forensics-type fiction writers."

Kathleen Ann Goonan
This site contains plentiful excerpts and links to short stories you can read on line, as well as travel information, reviews and more.

Steven Gould
The author of Jumper shares this page with Laura Mixon. The page features biographical and bibliographical information, and is quite nice.

Andrew M. Greeley
Andrew M. Greeley's Web Site offers previews of newly released novels, Mailbox Parish Newsletter, and Catholic Homilies.

Jack C. Haldeman II
In his own words: science fiction writer, biologist, producer of CD-ROMs, ex-Arctic explorer. Here's a bibliography as well as a resume he uses for conventions. (Author maintained.)

Joe Haldeman
Hugo & Nebula winning author Joe Haldeman's Tangled Website offers biographical information, a link to his professional website, a bibliography, and the short story "None So Blind." (Author maintained.)

Barbara Hambly
A nicely organized and detailed page on the author of The Silicon Mage and Bride of the Rat God. Good summaries of her many books, links to other fan pages and Net scavenged news. (Fan maintained.)

Tara K. Harper
This official site features information on all of Harper's published works, some biographical information, and a fantastic FAQ.

Robert A. Heinlein
A selection of sites about Heinlein: a nifty quote generator, excerpts from a long interview by J. Neil Schulman, a nice home page by James Gifford, and the Usenet group alt.fan.heinlein.

James P. Hogan
"Hard SF" author Hogan keeps a bibliography and a brief biography here, as well as the author's personal bulletin board.

Robert E. Howard
The Robert E. Howard Archive is a collection of poetry, correspondence and essays by the creator of Conan the Barbarian, as well as reviews, critiques and resources by and for fans, Mark's Conan the Barbarian Home Page has information, a chronology and book summaries (both Howard's and other authors') while alt.fantasy.conan offers Usenet chat.

Waygate (Robert Jordan)
An obsessively complete fan-maintained site on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, with a huge FAQ, an "Old Tongue" dictionary and lots of detailed analysis of the books. Not enough, especially for a couple of guys I know? Join the chat in alt.fan.robert-jordan or rec.art.sf-written.robert-jordan.

James Patrick Kelly
Primarily a science fiction writer, the author of Think Like a Dinosaur also writes fantasy shorts. A warm, chatty home page with fiction and essays. (Author maintained.)

Katharine Kerr

Author of the Celtic-based Deverry fantasies, a handful of Science Fiction novels and more than a handful interesting opinions on literature, feminism and life in general. (Author maintained.) In addition, a fan maintains an excellent Deverry Home Page.

Stephen King (Darktower)
Penguin Books has put together a flashy contest site at Darktower IV to celebrate the release of Wizards & Glass.

Katherine Kurtz
A fan has put together a fair page for fans of the Deryni author, and you can managed a bit of discussion at alt.books.deryni.

Mercedes Lackey Information Center

Mostly Lackey-related links and fan information, but very thorough for that and a good resource for the members of "Queen's Own." (Fan maintained.) The Heraldic Circle, a Mercedes Lackey webring, is a good way to scan other fan sites.

Stephen Lawhead
The UnOfficial Stephen R. Lawhead Page has a biography, a bibliography and good summaries of several of the popular Arthurian author's books, while the Official Mailing List provides a spot for discussion.

Tanith Lee
A bibliography from the Feminist Science Fiction, Fantasy & Utopia site, and an even more comprehensive one called Daughter of the Night and a fan's detailed review of Tales from the Flat Earth.

Ursula K. LeGuin Fan Page
A well organized site containing reviews, interviews, articles and bibliographies about the author of the Earthsea books and other award winning fantasy. (Fan maintained.) Jonathan White has an interesting interview up as well.

Fritz Leiber
A well done site honoring the creator of the Lankhmar tales (currently being reprinted by White Wolf.) Reviews, bibliography, etc. (Fan maintained.)

Justin Leiber
A philosophy professor at the University of Houston, Leiber is the author of Beyond Rejection, Beyond Humanity, and Beyond Gravity.

H. P. Lovecraft
This archive is an excellent and comprehensive tribute page to one of the grand masters of horror, organized by subject (biography, works, criticism, links, etc.) For Usenet chat see alt.horror.cthulhu.

Angus MacDonald
SF writer and co-host of "Head Space", the weekly online SF discussion at HotWired, his site includes full reprints of three previously published SF stories.

Anne McCaffrey
Publisher Del Ray has both an author page and a Pern page, both of which are quite good, while WWWebguides has a good bio, biblo and FAQ. There's also the the al.fan.pern FAQ for Dragonrider fans, and the Pern Web Ring for the truly obsessed. The author's own homepage, Dragon Underhold, seems to have gone missing.

Wil McCarthy
A writer of "mostly science fiction" (including Murder in the Solid State) when he's not launching rockets for Lockheed Martin.

Maureen F. McHugh
The critically acclaimed author of China Mountain Zhang maintains an interesting and deeply personal home page, with essays on writing and life in general. Check it out.

Vonda N. McIntyre
Her home page features an annotated bibliography, a biography and more, including an excellent lesson in manuscript preparation for aspiring writers. (Author maintained.)

Patricia McKillip
A good bit of information on one of my favorite authors (Forgotten Beasts of Eld, Atrix Wolfe) by a devoted fan. Annotated bibliography, book covers and so on. (Fan maintained.)

Robin McKinley
The "Official Home Page" is a fan-run site with information about the popular  Fantasy author's books, a discussion group and more. (Fan maintained.)

Sean McMullen
Sean McMullen has won the Australian Science Fiction Award 4 times. Interviews, fiction and more, well presented. (Author approved.)

Steve Miller and Sharon Lee
These two keep a home page dedicated to the Liaden universe, their cult favorite (and currently out of print) science fictional universe.

Laura J. Mixon
The Wild Card contributor has a brief but entertaining home page shared with with Steven Gould.

L.E. Modesitt
A fan has put together a good home page for the author of the Recluce books, with maps, suggested reading, cover images, a FAQ and a link to Tor's sample chapters for his latest. (Fan maintained.)

Melisa C. Michaels
Author of six science fiction novels, including the Skyrider series from Tor. (Author maintained.)

Pat Murphy
The author of Nayda and the Nebula Award Winning The Falling Woman has a brief but handy home page with excerpts, story and column links. (Author maintained.)

Jack Nimersheim
Chez Nims in Cyberspace is an official site, and features a library of some of his short fiction, as well as articles, book information, and more.

Larry Niven
Niven's (Ringworld, The Integral Trees). This page covers just about anything related to Larry Niven's work. You might also try a ride on the Larry Niven WebRing.

Patrick O'Leary
An accomplished poet and author of science fiction novels Door Number Three and The Gift. Blurbs on the books, poems, biography, etc. (Author maintained.)

Rebecca Ore
Author of Gaia's Toys and Outlaw School, she's been writing science fiction since 1983. An author-maintained home page.

Mervyn Peake
The Peake of Imagination is a good introduction by a fan of the author of the classic Gormenghast triology, while The Poetry of Peake is self-explanatory. There's also the web page for Peake Studies for the scholarly, which includes a partial bibliography.

Terry Pratchett
The L-Space Web is beautifully done and almost as funny as Pratchett himself. All the usual information (including annotations for Americans) from the folks of alt.fan.pratchett. True believers should stop by the newsletter, Discworld Monthly. A Discworld Webring has also sprung up.

W. T. Quick
Author of seventeen novels in multiple genres, his site at Iceberg Productions features biographical and bibliographical material, cover scans, and more.
