Saving PSP6 Files To Work With PSP5

.

A great big Thank You goes to Dottie on this one.

She told me how those of us who have PSP6 can save our files so they will be compatible with those folks who have PSP5. While I am sure lots of you already know that, I'm equally as sure that some are like me and didn't know it could be done like this....sooooo....I am going to share how to do it with you in a short tutorial.

.

First you bring up the image you want to be compatible and then you go to 'File' and click on 'Save AS'. This window will come up (I do think it is safe to assume we all know what this window looks like, hee, hee):

Choose PSP as file type you want to save it as, then click on the

'Options...' button and the following screen will come up:

Check the 'Run length encoding' and  'Save as PSP 5 compatible file'.

.

When you save it in this manner, both the folks who have PSP 6 and PSP 5

can download the files you send and work with them...

Isn't this great!!!!

Hugs to all....Joyce

I give permission for Ldy Archrr to place any/all of my tutorial/s on her site. I personally made the tutorials that carry the Screen Name Opp513. When doing a tutorial about the same subject, there are bound to be some similarities, but these tutorials were created by me and me alone... Any similarity to other people's tutorials is purely coincidental. 10/24/00

Thank you and enjoy!
