1. Open Transparent image 350x225. 

With the Selection tool set at rectangle, use the blocks on the transparent image as a guide and make different sizes. To make multiple slats, hold down the shift key while using the selection tool.


2. Flood fill any color or pattern and leave image selected.



3. Copy and paste as a new selection on current image. 

Do this until you have the desired look you want. Deselect.

 

4. With the magic wand click anywhere on the image. Go to Selections<Invert. Your image should be selected. 

~At this point you can go on your own using Eyecandy, Ulead or whatever effect you want to have for your tag.~

 
5. Go to Image<Plugins<Filter Factory A<Pool Shadow 

using these settings:


6. Click ok. Leave image selected and apply a drop shadow. 

I used the following settings:


7. Deselect and you're done with making a slatted tag. 
Add tubes and text, make beads. 

Dress it up to your personality and share with the group!!
