The Art of Electronics
"The Art of Electronics", by Paul Horowitz & Winfield Hill

This has been my electronics "bible". This book has so much in it, I couldn't possibly learn (and remember) all of it (but I can always try). It has whole chapters on transistors, MOSFETs, radio electronics, computers, communication, op-amps, feedback... You name, they probably have in there somewhere. Price: $60

The second half of the book deals with teaching electronics in general. Lists of sources and publications included. Price: $24.95
