This has been my electronics "bible". This book has so much in it, I couldn't possibly learn (and remember) all of it (but I can always try). It has whole chapters on transistors, MOSFETs, radio electronics, computers, communication, op-amps, feedback... You name, they probably have in there somewhere. Price: $60
"Build Your Own Home Lab", by Clement S. Pepper
Here's another great book. It includes plans for many different kinds of work benches, power supplies, Sine-Triangle-Square waveform generators, capacitance measurement, frequency counters, loads, etc.. The second half of the book deals with teaching electronics in general. Lists of sources and publications included. Price: $24.95
"Mobile Robots", by Joseph Jone & Anita Flynn
This is an excellent book. It describes how to make two different robots, TuteBot and Rug Warrior. Introduction to microcontrollers, the brains of most robots, sensors, mechanics, software, motors, power, programming, etc. A great book. Price: $50
Nuts & Volts
This large "magazine" come every month full of great articles. Good columns and lotsa interesting articles.
This great new mag has just one subject - robots! They also have a bunch of articles posted on they're website.
