| Ultraman King is a legendary
immortal being, the "god" of the Ultra-heroes. King is supposedly undefeatable
and all-powerful. He was considered to be a myth, until Ultraman
Leo discovered the myth to be reality. King guards the universe from the "King
Planet." According to Dennis Lee, Astra was rescued by Ultraman King from the Magma. He
then gave Leo the Ultra Cape, which, in Matt Thorn's
words, is "another multi-purpose, kick-hindquarters weapon." (This cape was also
called the Multi-Purpose Mantle.) Ultraman King had at least two attacks. One was the Baptism Beam, fired from the two red hexagons on his abdomen. This beam could reveal the true identity of a disguised enemy. Another is the Ultra Hammer, something much like a judge's gavel; it was used to change Leo back to his normal size. King could also teleport himself (as can several other Ultramen), and he could manipulate the environment of the planet to aid him. There is some speculation (nothing official that I know of) about Ultraman King being the grandfather of Zoffy. |
