Another 5 player game! This game closely follows the real life game. Teams are included from around the world - all with different stengths and weaknesses. Choose well...
There are plenty of options to explore, you can have upto 5 people playing, and you can have upto 5 on a single side - play 5p against the cpu! Or 4 people can gang up on 1 of your friends. Plus, you can get to beat each other up(in a side view sub-game of course!) when you do a particulary rough check.

The graphics aren't too bad for a hucard based game, the only minor grumble is that when the action gets a bit
hectic - when there are multiple players, the screen can get a 'little' jerky. It is only very slight though, and does not detract from the game at all.

Sound is fairly basic, but you get the occasional crowd cheer or groan. There is no background music (except in title screen and menus).
If you are into ice hockey, and own a PC-Engine, DUO, or TurboGrafx, then I would recommend this game. You
can pick it up fairly cheap (approx $9 - $15 in the US, and about £10 - £19 in the UK) and there are a lot of copies still around - so it should be fairly easy to find a copy of (even this long after the machine has been discontinued).

Overall, a game with its flaws, but made up by the 5 player mode and some fairly good graphics.

The TG mailing list review of the game is here.
