Resent Discoveries in Astrophysics

Astronomy has undergone profound changes over the previous few decades in large part due to technological advancements. This is attributed not only to those prominent centres of exploration and educational institutions, but from the amateur astronomer contently couched in his backyard environment. Now, at the inception of the twenty-first century, mankind's understanding of the cosmos is ever-evolving. Ptolmy's idea of an Earth centred universe has been falsified, Kepler and Newton's theory applied to comprehend to sky above, but still science has a fruitful future of explorations.
