1 cup sugar
1 Tbs. vinegar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 1/2 Tbs. baking soda
1 - 6 oz. package semi sweet chocolate bits
Melt chocolate. Mix sugar, corn syrup and vinegar in a 3 qt. saucepan. Cook to hard crack stage (300 degrees). Turn off heat and add soda, mixing quickly. Mixture will foam up. Pour into greased 11x7x11/2 pan. Cool, then invert on a tray and spread with melted chocolate. Break into chunks.
