Sega of Japan have just unveiled the logo for the Sonic Adventure which is coming to Dreamcast. The logo, according to Sega of Japan, was created with a visual reference to earth, air and water because they all have relevance to both the meaning of the word "adventure" and to the environments you are likely to encounter in the game.

The 20 second trailer depicts a tidal wave rushing through a modern-day cityscape, as water floods an underground sewer, before violently throwing manholes up into the air. The game's logo is flashed on screen, followed by a caricature of Sonic, and the trailer ends with the Sonic Adventure press conference's date and time.
Unsurprisingly, Sonic Adventure's hero was absent during the trailer, as Sega are obviously trying increase interest and anticipation in the game while giving nothing extra away. Here are few screenshots taken from the video clip:
