What courses taken in high school would be most
beneficial for this major?
- Chemistry, biology, Algebra I and II, geometry, and
computer literacy. CPR certification is also necessary.
How many ours per day, on average, do full-time students
attend?
- 3 days per week for class, 5 hours for 2 days
(clinical days) plus approximately 4 - 5 hours of study per night
How many hours per week do you recommend a full students
work?
- 16 or less (preferably on weekends)
How long will it take the average student to complete
this major during the evening?
- Nursing courses are not offered in the evening at this
time.

What is the starting salary range?
- Approximately $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, salary is
dependent upon the type of agency.
