My Interests.

Apart from TESL methodology, I am also a computer enthusiast. I am particularly interested in computer programming (well, not the serious stuff!) and computer hard ware.

I am currently trying my best to learn Authorware, Microsoft Fox Pro and Microsoft FrontPage98. In accordance with our government smart school concept, writing for educational purpose will be an utmost preoccupation. Authorware indeed provided a handy tool for such a goal, but of course such commitment cannot be adhered to without a fair understanding of the program. The manual itself would not be a complete guide; therefore tips and advice from experts would be much appreciated.

Apart from computer software, I started mingling my self with hardware knowledge. A year ago these terms would be a complete alien to me: main board, processor, RAM, BIOS, IRQ, sound card, display card, etc. Now, I can boastfully say that I can build my own system, correct minor operating system conflicts and replace or even upgrade faulty components. Since then I have never sent my computer for repair. Indeed knowledge saves money and enlightens you to a broader perspective of the computer world.
