Tools used in the creation of your web site

Pen and paper are initially used to sketch out the navigation around the site in a tree diagram and Netscape Navigator Gold is used to brainstorm the layout of the site and to get a feel for how things should be layed out on each page.

The web site is created using a text editor, commonly the Programmer's File Editor, or Notepad. Documents can also be transferred if necessary to HTML from Microsoft Word 97, before being tidied up in a text editor.

Graphics are created using Artworks, InterGIF, ChangeFSI, FineArt24 and Paint on an Acorn A5000, as well as Paint Shop Pro and GIF Construction Kit on a PC. Other public domain graphics are also gathered from the Internet from various dedicated sites to bring a truly professional look to the site.

CGI scripts, image maps, frames, tables, pre-fetch loading and various other techniques used to create web sites will all be used when necessary to improve your site. We do not however believe in making a site suitable only for use in one web browser and will endeavour to ensure that whatever browser is being used on whatever computer system, NetCreations' web sites will be adequately displayed, in order that all your prospective clients can appreciate your site.

Testing is performed in Microsoft Internet Explorer 3, Netscape Navigator 3, and Lynx browsers to ensure that the web site will be satisfactorily viewed by 99% of the online community.

Using multi-platform development and extensive testing on the main browsers as well as the leading text browser, you are guaranteed to receive a quality web site from us.
