Bundaberg P.C.Users Group is a Family based Computer  Group. We are a group of ordinary people, not experts by any means, although some of us know more about computing than others. We get together to learn about and help each other learn about different aspects of Computing. We aim to help New Users. All visitors of any age are very Welcome. The Bundaberg P.C.Users group provides the means whereby users are able to get assistance & support  for any computing problem they may have.
*Note - Members who show their membership cards will find that most local computer outlets will be willing to haggle to a degree over prices of computer related items.
PCUG are now meeting at the U3A rooms next to YMCA House opposite the Anglican Church Hall.  Off street car parking available at rear.
Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7pm

On the 2nd Wednesday of the month we meet at the  Kepnock State High School in Kepnock Road 6.30pm for those interested in Internet training.(Excluding school holidays)
(*Note - The Kepnock High School venue is on hold for the time being.)

If you are new to computers, or if you just want to learn more about computer basics, come along to a couple of our meetings as our guest,  make yourself known, join in and make yourself at home, ask as many questions as you like. You'll find everyone is friendly.  We all talk about our computer problems (Let's face it, everyone has them)  and we try to help each other out where we can. If you like our company you can enquire about joining. (we're not that bad)

On the 1st Wednesday of the month we endeavour to have a structured demo or tutorial on a particular program or hardware. Sometimes things don't go as planned, due to devine intervention, or maybe the computer just doesn't want to work right now. In which case we get a demo of how to fix the problem followed by a cup of coffee and another go at it.

If you are  interested  in  learning or trying a certain program or particular type of hardware, please let one of the committee know, we will try to arrange a demo of the product or a tutorial on the program you are interested in seeing if at all possible.

On the 3rd Wednesday we have a short general meeting & workshop.
Bringing your own computer along, if you have a problem with it, also helps to solve your own particular problem. Just bring the box your keyboard and mouse, no need to bring a monitor.

INTERNET - Our internet access venue at Kepnock High is on hold at the moment, however we still have single computer access for our club computer at the U3A rooms, to allow demonstrations on the net for those interested in learning about "The Net" before they decide if that is what they want to do.
