Aliasing is a fundamental problem in computer graphics and computer imaging.
The human eye has a resolution that demands on the order of 8000x8000 pixels to produce
an image which is imperceptibly different from a perfect reconstruction.
Because any pixel based display has a finite resolution, and the displays commonly
used have a lower resolution than the human eye, aliasing occurs in high frequency image data.
