The RISWAT^® multi-cable penetrations are used in particular for conduits which have to allow many cables to be ducted in a relatively small area and for the purpose of rendering conduits in existing installations gas- and water-tight subsequent to completion (retrofitting).
In contrast to many other sealing systems, RISWAT^® multi-cable penetrations do not require the use of special conduit frames.

A very limited number of different components are needed to seal the conduit. Only fifteen different sizes of insert sleeves are used as a spacer for the ducted cables and as a carrier for the DRIFIL sealing compound. The excellent adhesive properties of the sealing compound used makes the RISWAT^® system suitable for steel, stainless steel and aluminium conduit sleeves and for rubber and plastic cable sheathings.
