History -
Seth Green, named to Entertainment Weekly's 1998 "It List" of the 100 most
creative people in entertainment, is a familiar face from his many television
and film roles. Most recently, he starred on the big screen as Scott Evil in
"Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged me," played a member of a squadron of government
goons in the suspense thriller "Enemy of the State" with Will Smith, and appeared
in the teen comedy/horror film "Idle Hands."
Green has worked almost non-stop since he began in the business at age 6. Born
and raised in Philadelphia, he spent much of his youth commuting regularly to
shooting locations all over the country, while still managing to graduate high
school with honors from his school back home.
Green made his big-screen debut in "Hotel New Hampshire" and since has amassed
an impressive list of credits that befits an actor twice his age. At 12, Green
auditioned for Woody Allen and landed the leading role in the movie "Radio Days,"
soon finding himself trading quips with Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show."
Additional feature film credits include his portrayal of Scott Evil, Dr. Evil's
(Mike Myers) estranged son in "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery";
"My Stepmother Is an Alien," where he first met his "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
love interest, Alyson Hannigan; followed by "Can't Buy Me Love," "Airborne,"
and the graduation night comedy film "Can't Hardly Wait."
Next for the actor is a role in the upcoming big-screen gangster tale "Knockaround
Guys," which also stars John Malkovich and Barry Pepper and follow four sons
of well-known mobsters who head to a small Montana town in search of cash.
On television, Green starred in the miniseries "Stephen King's 'It,'" appeared
as a series regular in "Good and Evil," "The Byrds of Paradise" and "Temporarily
Yours," and guest-starred on numberous shows including "The X-Files," "Mad About
You" and "The Drew Carey Show."
In his free time, Green enjoys playing pool and seeing as many movies as possible.
He currently lives in Los Angeles.
