The BARLEY Church in Bloomfield Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania

The BARLEY Church was built in the early 1840's on land provided by Nicholas John
BARLEY. He gave enough ground to build the church and also space for the graveyard.
The St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church near Bakers Summit, Woodbury Township,
Bedford Co., Pa. Better known as the BARLEY Church. The church's first congregation
was organized in 1842. According to the book I have of the congregation a Daniel son of
George FETTER and wife Elizabeth born Febuary 20 th 1844  Baptized April 7, 1844
and Anna Maria Frederricka daughter of Justus BASTARD and wife Mari Dorethea born
August 24, 1843,  Baptized April 7 th 1844 must have been the first two to be baptized in
the congregation.

I have a copy of the congregation's records and will do look-ups for free when I get the time.
So e-mail me at [email protected] with your requests and I will check for you when
I get the time
