1. John A. Cessna II son of Jean DeCessna & Unknown was born in 1692 in Ireland. He died on Sep 30 1796 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

John was commissioned a coronor on the frontier in 1723. He signed a petition for a new road to Lancaster from Harris' Ferry (now Harrisburg) in 1744.

2 M i. Major John H. III Cessna was born on Jan 26 1726 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He died on Mar 31 1802 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

John married (1) Sarah Rose on Jan 26 1760 in Strasburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Sarah was born on Feb 6 1740 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. She died on Jul 1 1788 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

John also married (2) Elizabeth Hall. Elizabeth died about 1803.

5 M iv. Stephen III Cissna was born on Jul 20 1737 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He died on Aug 14 1823 in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio and was buried in Aug 1823 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio.

Stephen married (1) Elizabeth Barnhill in Ohio. Elizabeth was born in 1758 in Pennsylvania. She died in 1793 in Chillicothe, OH.

Stephen also married (2) Margaret about 1800 in Chillicothe, Ohio. Margaret was born in Chillicothe, Ohio. She died after 1823.

6 M v. Lt. Col. Charles Cessna III was born on Mar 2 1744 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He died on Jul 30 1848 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

Charles became a Lt. Col of the Bedford Co. Milita during the Revolutionary War.

Charles married Elizabeth Culbertson on Mar 4 1774 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was born on Jan 31 1746/1747 in Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania. She died on Aug 19 1831 in Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.
