Jamie Renee Holland was born on October 23 1977. She was much loved by her mother Ann, her father Robert and three brothers Trevor, Shawn and Brandon. Jamie Loved family, friends, country music and hot chocolate. Jamie was a state ranked gymnist.She earned 3 metals at the age of 11 at the North Carolina state gymnastic meet. Jamie was a 1995 honors graduate of Northern Nash High School..During Jamies high school years she was an active member of the Northern Nash soccer team, swim team and cheerleading squad. Jamie was named to the all state cheerleading team in her senior year.Jamie had dreamed of making the olympic gymnastic team one day. At East Carolina University, Jamie was a member of the diving team. Jamie taught gynmanstic, cheerleading and coached soccer. Jamie was a Sports Medicine Major. She was to have graduated in May 2000.
Jamie was found dead in the living room of an apartment at 100 Wyndhan Ct. apt L The coroner ruled the cause of Jamie death was due to sufficiation. The injuries on Jamie lead us to believe that her death was not an accident. There was very little investigation into Jamies death. We believe the investigation into Jamie's death was conducted in this manner because it was a college students death in a college town.
