Main changes between TI92 and TI92-II :
| TI92 | TI92-II | |
| RAM memory | 128 Ko | 256 Ko |
| ROM memory | 1 Mo | 2 Mo |
| ROM version | 1.x | 2.x |
| LCD Address | $4440 | $4720 |
Now, some more informations on fargo programs patching (but only neccesary with old programs for Fargo I):
If you
have got the source files, you should check all adresses to the RAM (like LCD mem,
VAT,...) and replace if required by the right one. Don't forget to use TI-92.H
for ROM 2.1. Here are some common adress changes :
| Normal | Patched |
| $4440 (LCD memory) | $4720 |
| $75B0, $75B2 (key buffer) | $79C4, $79C6 |
| $75A0 (keypad scancode) | $79B4 |
| $5D42 (handle table) | $6022 |
| $20064,$20078 (for ints) | $100064,$100078 |
All adresses are discribed in THIS file. (NOT DISTRIBUTED ANY MORE... send e-mail for more informations)
If you haven't got all the source files and want all the same to patch to
file, you should disassemble the 92P files, check all adresses to change and use a program
as PCTOOLS... Then, use SUM92 to recalc the checksum. Voila ! (I managed to convert
programs with this method !)
