I was wondering if you were connected on a LAN (e.g. @Home, Roadrunner, etc) and you had a Laptop and traveled with it all around the world, would you have to change your IP address frequently?

There is a program you can get located at?

http://www.netswitcher.com/

I tried netswitcher with my laptop for a while. It has a lot of problems. Worked good for about a week and then started locking up all the time when I tried to switch network set ups. Eventually I had to uninstall it and reload all my network stuff - because I couldn't get any successful network configurations. I am a PC person, but MACs have the best deal on this issue. You can have multiple network profiles to switch back and forth into - WITHOUT having to RESTART !!!
