What is Tioga Protection?

Tioga takes a "snapshot" of your configurations that have to do with the Internet, and does this again on a scheduled basis. If your network properties get messed up or you delete your network card, you run the "Heal" in Tioga and it restores these back to the configuration on the date you pick (you'll see multiple dates when snapshots were done, in case you've knowingly made changes and don't want to go back to the original setup). I intentionally messed up the settings twice on my computer so I
couldn't get online, then ran the "Heal" and got back online both times after rebooting the computer.

If you don't feel this program is something you want on your system, you can of course delete it. I would suggest you understand what it does first, try it out a few times, then decide whether it would be useful to your household.

Tioga does not allow tech support to take control of your computer.
