Netscape Communicator 4.0x E-mail

In the Preferences window, click marker next to Mail and Groups

Under Mail & Groups, select Identity

To the right of Preferences, enter your name in the Your Name text box

Type your e-mail address in the E-mail address and Reply-to address text boxes (e.g. [email protected])

Select Mail Server under Mail & Groups

Type the assigned User name in the Mail server user name text box Your user name is the same as the E-mail address before the @ sign

Type mail in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box

Type mail in the Incoming mail (POP3) server text box

Under Mail Server Type, ensure POP3 is selected

Click OK to finish
