go##
    ...where ## is any number from 18 to 51. These codes let you drive the civilian cars. For example, go21 lets you drive a truck cab.

pioneer
    Upgrades all cars to pioneer engines. Makes them go faster and handle better.

rushhour
    Adds a lot more traffic.

mad
    Replaces the tire smoke with cows! (3Dfx only)

rain
    Enables rain for non-3Dfx version. (non-3Dfx only)

vip
    Makes all vehicles (including traffic) limousines.

bomberbfs
    Gives you a 1957 Chevy.

fzr2000
    Gives you the "FZR 2000" jet car.

tombstone
    Gives you the "Tombstone" Daytona racing car.

schoolzone
    Allows you to drive a schoolbus.

chase
    Makes opponent cars that are behind you follow you.

slip
    Enables super slip 'n' slid mode. Makes the cars skid more than usual. Cooks some awesome doughnuts!

Slot car mode
    Type slot on the main menu screen. Now go to the car selection screen; a new option, "Slot car" will be available for each car. Switch it on to enable Slot car mode. Make sure you are in "Arcade" racing style on the game options menu. Now when you race you will not need to steer, just accelerate and brake. While in Slot car mode, hooting the horn (the "h" key by default) will give you a short burst of extra speed.

Extra cameras
    To drive from a top-down view, hold right-shift + "b" (the right-hand shift key and the "b" key on your keyboard) while the course is loading. So, when you hit "Race", a loading screen will appear. Hold right-shift + "b" until the loading screen disappears. You will now have an extra top down camera view.
    To drive from any of the nine replay camera views, follow the procedure above, but press right-shift + "c". You will now be able to choose from any of the nine cameras normally only available during replays.

Night mode
    To enable night mode (headlights not included), hold down the "n" key on your keyboard while the course is loading. So, when you hit "Race", a loading screen will appear. Hold "n" until the loading screen disappears. (non-3Dfx only)

Invisible walls
    1) This cheat works only with Mediterranneo and Mystic Peaks. Start the race, and then find a smackable object, such as a crate or souvenir stand.
    2) Reverse into it at 40mph (65 km/h) or more, with your horn blaring. This will enable the cheat mode.
    3) Drive off any side barrier at 100mph (160 km/h) or more, and you'll go flying! You will be placed back on the track shortly after.
