The King's Quest Series is possibly the best computer game series ever written. Since the release of King's Quest 1 in the early 80's, adventure game fanatics have been on their knees begging, please let their be a sequal. Well, once again we have another sequal in our midst, and this one claims to break some of the rules that it's previous enstallments have set.

One of the interesting additions to this new Kings Quest is that your character can now fight. That's right, Quest For Glory style combat in a King's Quest. Also the authors have claimed that the game flow will be less story like and more free flowing, allowing you to complete the game in any order that you want to. The world in the game also claims to be gigantic. People have made comparisons to the landscape being almost Mario 64 like, but Sierra claims that it's not exactly that style, it's just REALLY DAMN BIG.

Any way, here's the shocker for all of you KQ junkies. Your character isn't King Graham of someone in his family? Yes, you are someone from Daventry, but the fact that they decided to move away from the Graham family thing is weird to me, but I guess you can only use the same characters so many times over.

Alrighty Quest for Glory fans, they finally made another one. I haven't heard much about the gameplay on this one, but the fact that the words Quest For Glory appear in the title give me faith. At this exact moment I'm replaying all of the previous Quest for Glories and am building up a character for the new game, because like all the others in the series QG5 will let you import your characters from other games!
