Little bits of information everyone loves :P

The Klod character was actually created several years before I began playing Discworld, back in the glory days of the Nintendo Entertainment System a little known game called "Archon" was released on the platform, few copies were produced and those that were did not exactly fly off the store shelves. I however purchased the game, and on the way home took a look at the front of the package, there was a barbarian hero thrashing a monster, though the hero was considerably uglier than the monster. I tried to think up a name for this unknown champion of justice and eventually settled on Klod, of course the character has evolved a great bit since then and has taken more of a comedic spin, but that is his actual origin.

NOTE: If for some reason anyone has a good high quality scan of the Archon NES box art...... let me know!

Also before being used on the Discworld, the Klod character was actually a highly successful fantasy wrestler, and still is to this day, who would of thought? Adventurer by day, wrestler by night.
