Klod's Description:

He appears to be your classic barbarian hero, you know the type, million dollar body and a ten pence brain. However one thing that differentiates him from this image is that upon noticing that you are looking at him he has broken into a cold sweat, his teeth have begun to chatter and his legs are shaking.... yes Klod is a cowardly warrior, oh the shame of it all!

Up until recently our Cowardly Hero has had his past shrouded in mystery, but thanks to recent advances in understanding "grunt" his past has been revealed.

Klod was born in a family that produced a long line of heroes, however by the time Klod was born the family bloodline had been quite watered down, still as a child young Klod appeared to have the physical attributes of the other heroes in the family and his family was pleased with this.

However when the time came for him to pass his first test of "Heroism" things went terribly wrong as he simply refused to climb a nearby mountain, Mt. Dragmore (Less a mountain and more a couple rocks piled on top of each other.) and save his little sister who as part of family tradition was taken captive by the youngest member of the "Ice Chicken Giant" family (And yes years ago they stole the lawn-mower), but no, instead Klod ran away leaving her to get a terrible case of freezer-burn. This act of cowardice shamed his family to no end and he was disowned.

His family took him to Ankh-Morpork and made him join the Warriors Guild before leaving him behind forever....... he's been struggling (read running...... a lot and almost running out of breath) to survive for many years now.
