The stairways were located at the rear of 1710 North Vermont Avenue from the alley located between Kingswell Ave. and Prospect Ave. (see MAP). The stairs were originally wood and in a different configuration than nowadays. I used to have a friend who lived on the second floor in the apartment section of the building (i.e. the rear--medical/professional offices in the front) and remember using the stairs.
