Armageddon is easily this summer's blockbuster movie.
If you loved Independence Day, you'll love
Armageddon even more. The only reason that it's
better than Independence Day is because it has feeling.
It had a kind of genuine emotion amidst all the action,
as was seen in Titanic.
It starts off with an exciting action scene that prepares
you for the rest of the movie. The all-star cast makes
Armageddon's non-stop action sequences all the more
exhilarating and suspenseful. Harry (Willis) and his team
of nutty oil drillers are asked to save the world from an
asteroid coming toward earth. Bruce Willis' main
obstacle is keeping his employee (Affleck) away from
his only daughter (Tyler). It's a very emotional movie
that leaves you in awe. The only flaw is that anything
that could go wrong did! It gets very predictable by the
end of the movie.
Armageddon is for any age group but may be too
intense for younger children. The verdict: stick around
to watch the 2 1/2 hour long blockbuster. You may
also want to stick around a bit longer to see extra
scenes during the closing credits. It's an excellent
movie!
