All dogs must be spayed or neutered with the exception of puppies five months old and younger.

All vaccinations must be up-to-date. Owners must submit written proof that their dogs have received DHLLP, bordatella vaccinations within the last eleven months. Specifically the vaccines required are:

- distemper - hepatitis
- leptospirosis - para influenza
- parvovirus - bordatella

This shot, more commonly referred to as "DHLPP" or "5+1" or "6+1", could include bordatella (a.k.a. kennel cough) vaccine. If not, a separate inoculation will be required. A rabies shot also must be received at least one week prior to attending daycare.

All dogs must be in good health. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Specifically, owners will need to certify that their dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition within the past thirty days. Dogs who have been diagnosed with a communicable condition within the past thirty days will need a veterinarian's certification of health to be admitted or readmitted. A negative fecal test is required.

All dogs must be non-aggressive and non-toy or food protective. Please remember that your dog will be spending time with other dogs and that their safety and health is our main concern.

All dogs are required to undergo some form of flea treatment during dry months.
