REGULATIONS OF THE ALLIANCE FOR FREEDOM IN FLANDERS
1. The official abbreviation of the Alliance for
Freedom in Flanders is AFF.
2. The chairman and the vice-chairman of the
AFF are elected by the members with a regular majority for nine months.
3. When making their candidacy public, all
candidate-chairmen also announce who they will choose as their vice-chairman.
4. candidate-chairmen have to be a member
of the AFF for at least two months.
5. The vice-chairman replaces the chairman
when the latter is not available or when the chairman asks him to.
6. The regulations of the alliance can only
be modified after approval by two thirds of the members. Only the chairman
and the vice-chairman have the competence to propose a modification to
the regulations of the alliance.
7. The programm of the alliance can only be
modified after approval by two thirds of the members. All members can propose
a modification to the programm.
8. Only the chairman of the alliance has the
competence to negociate a coalition agreement in name of the alliance.
9. The AFF can only participate in a government
after approval of the coalition agreement by two thirds of the members
of the alliance.
10. The members of the alliance are only bound
to the programm of the alliance and a coalition agreement. They have complete
freedom of interpretation and determine themselves their point of vue concerning
subjects not explicitly mentionned in the programm or the coalition agreement.
11. Members of the alliance have to be a Flemish
citizen and can't be member of any Flemish organisation participating in
elections.
12. Applications for membership have to be
send to the chairman of the alliance by e-mail.
13. A membership can only be refused when
this is approved of by a regular majority of the members.
14. A membership can only be cancelled after
approval by two thirds of the members, after the concerned member has broken
the regulations.
