BFR II
The BFR II rocket is what we are using for our CATS 200KM altitude attempt. This rocket is the BFR I with an additional booster stage.
The vehicle is 12 feet long and 4.5 inches in diameter. It weighs 70 pounds at liftoff. It has a boost phase of 3000 pounds thrust for 3 seconds. The second stage has a burn of 2500 pounds for 3 seconds. The solid fuel motor uses a unique casing consisting of fiberglass and a ceramic nozzle. The complete payload capability of BFR II is 2 kg. It should loft this payload to over 200 kilometers in altitude when it is balloon launched from 100,000 feet.
