| My full name is Michael
Johnny Karlsson. I was born in Linköping
March the 31 in 1977. My mothers name is Anita, Roland is
my father and my sisters name is Marie. We also have a
cat in the house called Måns. I grew up in Linköping in
two areas - Skäggetorp and Ryd. Growing up wasn't my
idea of a good time since I am redhair you probably can
guess why... Of course I had some good times as well
besides, my parents has always been good. My favorite
toys when I was a kid was Lego, Playmobil, He-man action
figures, and 'toy cars' (cars that looked like real cars
though they were very little). I wanted to be a racecar
driver or a rallycar driver when I was little boy. I also
fantasised about being a police. Later on, when I was 7 or 8 years old, my father introduced me to the hardrock music. I had been listening to music for some time before that but I guess he wanted to teach me what it was all about... So, Deep Purple, Nazareth, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin & Mountain soon became housegods for me. AND I wanted to play the electric guitar AND I wanted to become a rockstar. Not that I understood the concept of being one... but nethertheless. My father and my mother soon regreted that I had started to listen to this kind of music 'cause ones you start you can't stop! I developed my skills on the guitar and as years went by my taste started to move to the extreme. Helloween, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Anthrax & Candlemass was some favorites around 1990. However, Death Metal had it's commersial breakthrough in 1991 and guess who was there? Check out Entombed, Carcass and Napalm Death. After that in 1994, came Black Metal, and ladies & gentlemen, this was really extreme. I was extreme...Check out Darkthrone and Satyricon. Around 1997 I suddenly understood that other kinds of music was great too. I had missed out on a couple of things here. Now, Classical music (especially Medieval & Renassiance), Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock - everything became ME. What a relief!!! Anyway, I was in my first band in 1992 - Incubators.
