Mr. K.N.Radhakrishnan Nair
(s/o) the late Sri.K.P.Narayanan Nair of the Kalambukattu family of Mannanam
& the late Smt.JanakiAmma of Mandapathil family of Ullala, Vaikom).

Had his studies at St.Ephrem's HS Mannanam, S.B.College, Changanacherry and CMS College,Kottayam.

Served as a teacher in the above school for a short period and joined the Bureau of Economics and Statistics of Govt. of Kerala. He has served in all districts of Kerala.

Had also been associated with the Labour Bureau at Shimla ( All India Consumer Price Index project).

Had worked with the World Bank- Population Division as Project Officer for the study of "Determinants of Fertility Decline in Kerala" 1980 -1990.

After retiring from service as a senior Class I officer (Dist. Officer, Econ. & Statistics), he is now a major force behind the Kerala State Service Pensioners' Union serving as the Secretary of the District Unit,and member, State Committee.

He is also the Vice President of the Federation of All India Service Pensioners' Associations.

Was awarded the

President of India's Highest Appreciation Award for his work in the Study & report preparations of Census 1961.
