The Internet
Developing the Search
Strategy
The Internet is a vast resource
of information. There are numerous search engines and directories that
will enable you to search the Internet. To do that you will need to know
how to use these tools to find the resources you will need. You will need
to develop a strategy so you will be able to find what you are looking
for. The Planning Your
Resource sheet is a form that will enable you to think about what you
are looking for, then check the NuevaSchool
web site, especially the section entitled "Searching the Internet". You
will need to understand the concepts of Boolean
searching. Please review these concepts before continuing.
Welcome
to the Web will provide both you and your students with a tour of how
to search the Internet. Search
Tool Chart will give you a printable reference guide for searching.
